AO3 question?

Does anyone know if there's a feature on Archive of Our Own that allows you to know when a fic has been updated? Other than manually checking, that is? I rarely sign into my account there and am terrible about bookmarking so it'd be extremely useful for keeping track of fics I'm enjoying it.

If you're logged in, you can subscribe to a Fic or an author & you get emailed when its updated. The subscribe button is at the top right of the Fic page, I think. This is a relatively new feature.

ETA: I just checked: if you're logged out, there's three buttons at the top right of the fic header (Comment, Share, Download). When you log in, more buttons populate, including "Subscribe." If you click on an author's name, in their dashboard you can click on a "Subscribe" button to get emails for anything they post.
I wish this feature worked on series, too.

It's only recent that it's worked for fics – used to be you could only subscribe to authors – so don't complain too much? I'm sure series'll show up eventually.

Thanks for letting me know! I'm going to have to start logging in there more often, it seems. I usually read fic on my kindle fire these days so having a way of keeping track of WIPs will be a relief. :)
