slyprenticeI don't know about anyone else but NaNoWriMo is kicking my arse. I feel like it's trying to suck my soul out through my fingertips and damn if it isn't working. I've been trying to work on my novel in my spare time but real life is being an absolute wench.
Everytime I sit down to write, something comes up to distract me. Even if I wake up an hour or two early just so I have the time to check my e-mail and get a good portion written; something comes up. *shakes head* If I don't my arse into gear, I have a feeling that I'm never going to get this thing written and that's the thing, I really want to. I've never written a full out 50K before. Close to it but never that far.
Beyond that, I've been working on a Supernatural story in my spare time. Nothing major, just a responding to a challenge that The Huntress put up on the SDSA. The blind date one. Well, actually, it's responding to two challenge but that one is the main one.
And, speaking of interruptions, I'll have to finish this post later. *headdesk*

 Dear Santa...Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In April I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points). Last Thursday I helped lbergholsee the light (8 points). Last Sunday I broke margurite's X-Box (-12 points). In February I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). Overall, I've been nice (718 points). For Christmas I deserve a Wii! Sincerely, |
