I'm afraid this is going to be a rather long winded post. Fandom-wise, my life is positively booming. In fact, so much is going on that I'm fairly shocked that I haven't had a crash and burn moment. You know, I probably just jinxed myself but...ah, well, it would happen with or without my help.

Anyhow, I have to unload some of the fandom-drowning that has attacked me lately before I go nutty. Well, more nutty.

Hm...okay. Hold on to your pants guys because here with go...

Thanks to the wonderful Gina, jessifanfic and I are now the sparkly new owners of Serge, a BF/RK slash group on yahoo as well as sergelist (which is actually a new incarnation).

Also, thanks to Jessi, we've got a shinny new domain for the Serge archive at sergelist.net. Right now, the old archive is sitting there in stasis while we figure out what we'd like to do. I won't even bother to go into details about what a nightmare that was. Lets just put it this way, both the community and the domain are the second going for us and poor Jessi had to shell out money for a new domain. *sends warm mental thoughts her way*

That being said though, and on a happy note, we do have our first challenge up both on the list and the community. When I have a spare moment, I'm definitely going to try to write a little something for it.

Now, though, moving to a similar problem but a different fandom...*deep calming breath*

Okay, here's the skinny on HxT_Lightening, Killing Green and our bloody buggery archive.

It has been...*looks at calendar*...hell and gone since I've spoken to Cathy or Passo, well, actually even longer than that with Passo. Really, I haven't the slightest idea what is going on in their lives (aside from a bit from Cathy *squee*) and I don't begrudge them that. Real life can be an absolute bitch.

BUT

With them being "out of the picture", so to speak, and my not knowing if they're even interested in Harry Potter anymore, I've had to take over maintaince for HxT_lightening. In fact, I really really wish that I could figure out a way to get ownership of the group, even temporary, so I could have more say so in things being run.

However, with things being as they are and the fact that for all purposes, I am the only active moderator, I'm having to make some pretty damn important decisions.

For instance, Rivulette, a very kick arse member, has offered up her OWN DOMAIN, which she informed me she just bought, for the home of our new archive. Hell, she even offered to make the site and allow me full access to it at any time.

It's a very generous offer, one that I truly can't refuse, and though I haven't responded to the e-mail yet, I'm fully planning on accepting. So...with any luck, within the next few months...Killing Green will be SLYTHER (slyther.net), a H/T Archive. Yesssssss! ;)

And, last but not least, on a note of fan fiction (my own, of course)...

Like so many others before, I'm jumping into the fan fiction table prompts game. I've picked out several tables to try to pick which I'd like to do and for what.

I'm not sure how it'll go but...well...hell, its worth a shot, right?

Also, I'm going to be tackling an epic of a story soon. In fact, an entirely new universe soon, one that will be my own type of creation. I won't give away details, not until I know exactly how it'll go, but here's the hint...it's similar, in principle, to the_tenth_muse's Romanology universe but not the Roman period. In fact, slaves, slave-consorts, and free-slaves will play absolutely no part. But, ah well...I'll give more up soon.
