I'm so goddamn tired of being sick! *tries not to bang head on the wall* As of today, I have officially been sick for two weeks! TWO WEEKS! *bangs head on the wall anyway, hoping to go unconscious*

All this honestly started three weeks ago, around the time that both of my sisters go sick. Originally, we assumed it was allergies since anyone who lives in this part of Texas for any length of time has allergies. Cedar is extremely high right now (causing cedar fever) and so...well, it seemed that's what it was. Until they both started running temperatures. -.-

Around that time I started popping vitamins like nobodies business hoping to avoid the whole thing but luck is so never on my side. Thursday night I started to feel bad and a whole lot worse after I worked out. Friday was the same but I thought, optimistically, that if I just rested over the weekend, I'd get better. By Tuesday, I was full on sick with a sore throat.

And by sore throat, I mean I thought my throat was on fire. I ended up, basically, sleeping my way through the week and on Sunday finally started to make a recovery but then, THEN, I stupidly decided that since I was on the mend, it'd be okay for me to go to my brother's house for an hour or two to visit my niece and nephew who usually spend every week with me but I didn't get to see at all because I was sick.

I, literally, went over in my pajamas for an hour or so with my mom and sister, stopped at Sonic to get a Route 44 Cherry-Limeade (OMG, those things are like crack to me and perfect when you have a sore throat) then came home. I seemed fine and no harm done, right? WRONG!

By Monday morning, my fever was high and my throat once again burning alive. Another week of hell, no real recovery, but I have to live my freaking life so I carry on with it, sucking down cough drops and medicine. This Sunday, again, I was a complete and utter effing idiot and went out and bought a Wii (and a Wii fit! *bounces and then coughs up a lung*) to make myself feel better.

By yesterday evening? I'd lost my voice. Completely. Last night was horrific. I felt like my vocal chords were being sliced and diced and my throat was covered in blisters. I finally started on some penicillin (yay for powder form since I can't swallow a pill right now!) today but still haven't gotten my voice back and everything really fucking hurts. From the hair on my head down to my toes.

The only time I feel relatively better is when I take a hot shower and as tempting as it is to just live in there until I start feeling human again, I can't.

So, yeah, I'm definitely sick of being sick.

On a side note: I only got to play with my Wii and Wii Fit for a few hours and I haven't gotten to play with it since (too sick) but I freaking love it. I find it cruel that I have to be so sick when all I want to do is play Wii Tennis (I want some Wii Points so I can buy Mario Brothers, dude!) but the idea of jumping around or even, you know, moving my arm at all has me wanting to curl into a ball in horror.

ETA: In honor of my I'm-so-fucking-sickness, I've changed my layout to a House/Cuddy layout, despite the fact that I don't watch House anymore. Wee!
